The historic Gwin's Lodge is located in Cooper Landing in the Kenai Peninsula in south central Alaska, which is known as "Alaska's playground." We are located at milepost 52 on the Sterling Highway (known as "Alaska's Scenic Byway") and the closest lodging near the confluence of two world-class salmon streams - the Kenai River and the Russian River. The amazing turquoise blue waters of the Kenai River and the crystal clear waters of the Russian River are home to Sockeye Salmon, Silver Salmon, Dolly Varden, and the most incredible Rainbow Trout fishing anywhere. This combined with the breathtaking forest, rivers, lakes, mountains, and abundant wildlife make Cooper Landing a sportsman's paradise and an outdoor person's perfect vacation getaway.
Gwin's Lodge has 12 cabins that can each accommodate 4 to to 6 guests and two cottage houses that can each accommodate up to 8 guests. Please go to the Lodging link above for more information. Reserve your cabin or cottage house and book your excursions, charters, and guided tours by calling 907.595.1266 or emailreservation@gwinslodge.com.
