Alaska Veterans Museum honors United States veterans and ensures that the nation remembers the sacrifices for America's freedom. Located in Anchorage, Alaska, the museum has a collection of more than 110 oral histories and hundreds of artifacts from veterans dating from World War 2 to the present. In addition to this, the museum educates the public through the collection, presentation and exhibition artifacts, personal accounts and historical acts relating to the history of the veterans.
